During the Houston Rockets blowout win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday night, there was a moment which left us a little confused.
Check out the video below which took place in the middle of the first quarter. As you can see, Chris Paul took the ball up the court and settled in near the right baseline, while Blake Griffin tried to post up on the block. Blake ended up getting inside position on the Rockets defender and CP3 tried to toss a lob over the defender to Blake for the easy bucket. Dwight Howard was able to bring help on a double team, but it wasn’t before CP3’s ‘assist’ was thrown. The ‘assist’ bounced perfectly off of the backboard and landed in Blake’s hands where he finished the easy layup.
Now we ask you, is there any shot that CP3 meant to pass the ball off the backboard?
