Anthony Davis’ first NBA experience was as riding the pine for Team USA at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. One of Davis’ Olympic teammates was Andre Iguodala, who no doubt lent a helping hand in hazing the young rookie while the team bounced around the world. Some traditions never die, as evidenced by this tweet Iggy sent Thursday night to an ailing AD, who was cooped up in bed all day with an illness.
Of course, a quick peek at the schedule reveals Iguodala’s Golden State Warriors are visiting Davis’ New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday in the second game of a back-to-back that includes Oklahoma City, which means Iggy may only be half kidding about the “stay sick” part.
