Toronto Raptors forward Amir Johnson is apparently a pretty big fan of Canadian-born rapper Drake, who just released his new album Nothing Was The Same yesterday. Johnson celebrated the occasion by visiting a couple record stores (yup, those still exist) and purchasing every single copy of the album.
Initially, it kind of seems like a douchey, selfish move by a guy with a lot of money. Buuuuut it turns out that wasn’t the case because Amir had a pretty cool reason for buying so many copies – he wanted to hand them out free to Drake fans waiting to purchase the CD.
Pretty cool. Johnny Football would be proud.
