Toronto Raptor big men Amir Johnson and Jonas Valanciunas have raised the bar when it comes to setting screens in the NBA.
During the beginning seconds of the game, the two bigs locked arms and hugged it out to set an impenetrable screen against Washington Wizards guard Garret Temple. Temple tried to split the screen, but Johnson and Valanciunas held strong like they were in a very serious game of ‘red rover.’
Unfortunately, DeMar DeRozan didn’t use what was quite possibly the best screen he will ever get and the Raptors did not score on the play.
