With only days until the release of “Anchorman 2” we prepare for the highly anticipated sequel by sharing some cocktail recipes that Ron Burgundy and the rest of the gang would drink. Now you can get sloshed like you were a real member of the Channel 4 News Team. Today’s outta sight libation is called “Glass Cup of Emotion.” This tantalizing cocktail is bound to give your sweet emotions thanks to the pleasing and unique flavors supplied by the Bols Genever that are compelling and rich. Bols Genever was discovered by the Germans in 1904. No, there’s no way that’s correct. I’m sorry, I was trying to impress you. Actually Bols began distilling genevers in the Netherlands in 1664 and has been making the whimsical spirit ever since.
INGREDIENTS:
– 3 Parts Bols Genever
– 1 Part Lemon Juice (preferably fresh lemons, try Meyer lemons for a sweet version)
– Sugar Syrup or Agave Nectar
– Club Soda
PREPARATION:
Little Ham ‘n Eggs comin’ at ya, hold on people hope ya got your griddles. In a shaker half-filled with ice, carefully combine Bols Genever, lemon juice, and sugar syrup or agave nectar. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass almost filled with ice cubes. Add the club soda. Stir, enjoy and bark twice if your in Milwaukee.
