No. 1 seed Wisconsin would ultimately prevail over the 8th-seeded Oregon Ducks on Sunday evening but the Badgers were in serious jeopardy of becoming the second top seed to go down this weekend. One of those reasons was their inability, or oftentimes simple refusal, to go inside the paint to their dynamic frontcourt players of Frank Kaminsky, Nigel Hayes and Sam Dekker.
However, that was not the case on this beautiful alley-ooop from Josh Gasser to Dekker. Wisconsin’s Bo Ryan called a timeout before the pass therefore while it did not count, it was quite intriguing, as the ball went through the rim twice:
