Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is no longer running against President Joe Biden, but that didn’t stop him from savaging the Democratic president at a rally this weekend.
Speaking at a rally in Minnesota, Trump revealed that he offered $1 million in a golf challenge to his old political rival.
“Joe Biden challenged me to a round of golf,” Trump said, going on to mock his golf swing amid what he claimed is the president’s deteriorating physical condition.
“And I can hit the crap out of the ball,” he said.
“Then I said, I’ll give you ten strokes a side…I’ll give you one million dollars if you could beat me. He had no chance,” Trump said.
The feud started during Biden and Trump’s only presidential debate of the cycle.
“I got my handicap, when I was vice president, down to six,” Biden claimed.
The words didn’t sit well with former President Trump.
“I’ve seen your swing. I know your swing,” he said.
Oddsmakers said former President Trump would be a decisive favorite if the two foes ever met on the links. Trump has been an avid golfer before, during and after his presidency.
Given that Biden will have ample time on his hands in a few months, perhaps we will one day witness the two play a golf game.
