Brian Jordan, Triple Play 98
Another two sport athlete, another video game cover. Jordan turned his solid 1996 campaign and playoff heroics for the Cardinals into the Triple Play ’98 cover. In Game 4 of the 1996 NLCS against the Atlanta Braves, Jordan bloated a eighth-inning home run off his future team that would prove the be the game winner for St. Louis. Following his cover appearance in 97, Jordan hit just 234 with zero him runs and 10 RBIs.
