Seems the Black Mamba is hitting theaters again and this time it’s in Italy. Following the successful collaboration with Robert Rodriguez Nike Basketball Italy worked with legendary Italian B-movie director Enzo G. Castellari who, among other things, provided the inspiration for Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds.
In the video Castellari takes viewers into his archives and reveals his classic unreleased film “The Black Mamba”:
The short movie, discovered in the basement of the director’s house, tells the story of the epic struggle between the law enforcement and a gang of ruthless thiefs and how the battle between evil and good takes a twist for the better thanks to the intervention of Black Mamba, international man of action and incredible baller.
Check out the video and enjoy the cameo from Dutch soccer star Wesley Sneijder and TWA.
I’m hoping the next Black Mamba movie is a John Woo Hong Kong brawler. What genre and director would you like to see Nike put Kobe in?
