If Granderson hit the free agent market last winter, he would have received mega bucks. Instead, he hits the open market coming off a year in which he was plagued by injuries and hit just seven home runs in 61 games. However, teams aren’t likely to forget that Grandy hit 84 homers over the span of the 2011 and ’12 seasons and he will likely get paid handsomely for it. Early rumors have the crosstown Mets interested in the Grandyman, while the White Sox are said to be very interested, as well.
