ESPN and Bill Simmons seem to be on thin ice in terms of their relationship, and the latest incident won’t exactly make things easier. All of this is purely speculation currently, but as soon as Bill started speaking about ‘The Decision’ during a postgame analysis segment, ESPN oddly cut back to their SportsCenter studio. This could definitely be a coincidence, but given their recent rocky history it wouldn’t be far fetched to think that Bill is on a very short leash. We are in the camp f it just being bad timing, but feel free to make up your own mind.
Bill took to Twitter immediately to divert attention.
