The Orlando Magic hosted the Toronto Raptors Thursday night and fell just short thanks to DeMar DeRozan’s fadeaway buzzer beater.
With just 4.3 seconds left on the clock, Toronto inbounded the ball to Jose Calderon who immediately tossed it to teammate DeMar DeRozan. DeRozan dribbled to the corner and hit a very difficult fading two-pointer over the outstretched arms of Orlando’s Arron Afflalo and Glen Davis with just one second left, giving Toronto the 97-95 victory.
DeRozan led all scores for Toronto with 22 points, and the last two were as good as it gets.
