Here at Cosby Sweaters HQ we like to talk about all the things that real men like to discuss…Tom Brady’s hair, Venus William’s fashion choices, electronic cigarettes, etc…. Along those lines, we also love footwear. We follow the blogs of our friends like Nice Kicks and Sole Collector, but those guys are so embedded that sometimes it feels like they may be too close to it. All the limited editions, and rare finds aside for now… (we don’t work at an advertising agency so we’re not that cool)… here is an honest list of the top 5 Nike basketball kicks of all time:
#5 – Air Jordan 4 – Mars Blackmon: The Air Jordan/Mars Blackmon commercials epitomize the rise in sports marketing, the embossed Mars on the heal is a nice hat tip to the legend.
#4 – Air Flight ’89: The design of this shoe is timeless.
#3 – Air Jordan 11: These were the MJ comeback shoes. The Space Jam version of these is ridiculous.
#2 – Air Force Max : AKA the Barkleys.
#1 – (drum roll please…) Air Flight Hurache: These shoes changed the world of hoops. Michigan’s Fab 5 brought these and baggy shorts to the scene, changing the look of basketball forever.
