25. Vampire Weekend, Modern Vampires of the City
On their first two albums, Vampire Weekend drew comparisons to Paul Simon for their african-influced style of pop music. However, on the band’s third release, the indie rock veterans move in a different direction by experimenting with new sounds. Despite the changes, there are still some distinctly Vampire Weekend traits to the album, such as the wittily named track “Diane Young” and the quirky cut “Hannah Hunt.”
