Hot mics are a broadcaster’s worst nightmare but they remain one of the funniest thing in sports. ESPN anchor Linda Cohn found herself on the wrong side of the always amusing hot mic debacle this week after she began trashing the Nets offseason moves, or lack thereof.
You can hear her saying “You know who hasn’t done a damn thing (in free agency). You make fun of the Knicks, but what about Brooklyn.”
It’s far from an expletive-filled, spit-flying, suspension-provoking rant but everyone always loves a good hot mic.
