Bill Lumbergh was introduced to moviegoers 16 years ago last week and the iconic character from the 1999 comedy Office Space is still legendary. The relatively low budget and simple film starring Gary Cole as Lumbergh along with Ron Livingston and the lovely Jennifer Aniston is still quoted in workplaces across the country.
HipChat, a business communication software, is hoping the movie and Lumbergh in particular can attract some attention to their product and services. The company hired Cole to reprise his role as the delightfully intolerable Lumbergh and although the results cannot sniff the real deal from 16 years ago, they were certainly adequate:
