New York Giants vs. Carolina Panthers, Giants pick ’em
The last time the New York Football Giants started a season 0-3 was 1996, and it’s not going to happen this year. If you know how Tom Coughlin and Big Blue operate, you know that this is a game they win. No other team loves having their backs to the wall like the Giants, so look for a big game out of Eli Manning and the offense. The Giants pass rush will still be ineffective, but Cam Newton will not be able to run with his opponent for four quarters. This could be a high scoring affair, but all signs point to a blowout. Even if it is a close one, no one’s better than Eli in late game situations, even if he is a goofball.
