Kanye knows true artistry when he sees it, there’s no doubt about that. True artistry is basically him, Beyonce, a bunch of fashion people, and definitely NOT Beck.
Well now, thanks to synthpop group Yacht, you can find out if you are actually an artist in Kanye’s eyes or not. The group created the site Kanye.am the day after this year’s Grammys and recently posted it to their Tumblr. The site is described by Yacht as “a magic 8-ball, ask Kanye if you’re real artist and load it. Then refresh if you want a different answer.”
I’ve refreshed a number of times and I am certainly not an artist in Kanye’s eyes, which I’m totally cool with. Give it a go for yourself and see if you’re a true artist in the eyes of Kanye West.
