Jim Harbaugh Detroit Free Press

While Jim Harbaugh is surely focused on leading his Michigan Wolverines in the College Football Playoff title game against the Washington Huskies on Monday night, it’s quite clear that he’s going to have a decision to make regarding his coaching future, whether it’s at Michigan or in the NFL. But the latest betting odds seem to suggest it will be in the NFL.

As Jim Harbaugh mulls his future, sportsbetting.ag released odds suggesting that it’s more likely that Harbaugh will be coaching in the NFL next season than with the Michigan Wolverines.

SportsBetting.ag lists odds at -180 that Harbaugh ultimately decides to leave Michigan and return to the NFL while listing odds at +140 that Harbaugh decides to remain with the Wolverines for at least another season.

Based on implied probability, these odds suggest that there is about a 64 percent chance that Harbaugh will decide to leave Michigan and vault to the NFL following the conclusion of this college football season.

Obviously, these are just betting lines and are by no means official, but it’s certainly interesting that the sportsbook seems to think it’s more likely Harbaugh is coaching in the NFL next season than with the Wolverines for another year.
