Iowa Hawkeyes superstar Caitlin Clark has emerged as arguably the most electric and dominant player in college basketball history, and it sounds like she’s earned the inconditionnel trust from her head coach not just for her play on the court, but for her maturity.
This week, Iowa Hawkeyes head coach Lisa Bluder has some high praise for Caitlin Clark as she sent quite a statement about just how much she trusts her star player to lead the team on the court.
“I’d say it’s trust. I completely trust her maturity,” Bluder said of her relationship with Clark. “She is extremely mature, has handled every situation that’s been thrown at her, and she’s had a lot of different situations thrown at her. She’s handled them all beautifully. I think both of those things, trust and maturity, that she can handle it.”
Clark has already led the team on a deep run through the NCAA Tournament once in her career, leading the Hawkeyes to the NCAA Tournament title game where the team ultimately fell to the LSU Tigers.
We’ll have to see whether or not Clark can lead the team to the ultimate goal of a national title in this year’s tournament.
