As we head into NCAA football’s week 3 we are on the lookout for a few possible upsets which may happen. By nature, these are long-shots, but there is a certain rhyme and reason to picking the possible stunners. For week 3 we have four possible upsets alerts on our radar. Last week we went 2 for 4 which we are just fine with.
Cal vs. #4 Ohio State
Cal has looked pretty weak in their first few games of the 2013 college football season and Ohio State is clearly the superior team in this matchup. But the Golden Bears still have a talented team that has yet to fully flourish, and OSU starting QB Braxton Miller is day-to-day after suffering a sprained left knee ligament last weekend. It’s still unknown if he’ll play Saturday, but even if he does…how effective will Miller be? If he isn’t healthy and struggles behind center, Cal could seize the opportunity to pull a massive upset on their home turf.
