#6 Texas A&M vs. #1 Alabama
Top-seeded Alabama has been known as the superpower of college football over the past few years and are the reigning back-to-back BCS National Champions. Only a single team, led by a single quarterback, has managed to beat them over the past 22 months. That team? Texas A&M. That quarterback? Johnny Manziel.
Johnny Football and the Aggies will face off against the Crimson Tide in College Station on Saturday and, while the Tide are looking to avenge last year’s 29-24 loss at the hands of A&M, Manziel has a lot to prove. Sure, he’s the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, but with all the scandal and allegations that have surrounded his name in the headlines this offseason, he’s still looking to prove he can dominate against the best. It’s going to be a tough task to dethrone ‘Bama but if anybody is up to the challenge it should be Johnny Football.
