Mick is a boxer Boston Terrier puppy with a disability known as Swimmer Puppy Syndrome, a condition that weakens the adductor muscles that pull its legs together. Because of the weakened muscles, the puppy’s legs will splay out to the side, rendering it unable to sit, stand or walk. Most puppies afflicted are euthanized because of the intense therapy required to correct the disability.
Well, here’s what happens when you give a puppy some proper TLC — and a lot of intense therapy. Hope you stocked up on Kleenex over the weekend!
