If you have ever watched a Los Angeles Kings game on Fox Sports West, you know who Dan Moriarty is. He’s the terrible reporter who asks statements instead of questions, confuses all the players, and apparently doesn’t pay very close attention to detail. At the L.A. Kings game on Friday, Moriarty interviewed Matthew Perry, a Staples Center regular on game nights, to find out his thoughts about the playoff series and congratulate him on the big news that had broken that day about his NBC sitcom “Go On.” The big news was that his show had been cancelled, a small detail that Moriarty was clearly unaware of….unless he just felt like being an as*hole. What follows is a wonderfully awkward remainder of an interview in which Perry makes light of the situation and Moriarty pretends to have known all along.
