Tracy McGrady, who has played approximately 0.00 minutes for the San Antonio Spurs since signing a contract for the remainder of the season, appears to be fitting in well with his new franchise. The former All-Star is included in a series of banners currently hanging at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, which is a great gesture for a guy who joined the team just last week.
Of course, if this were ten years ago (hell, five years ago), he’d probably make the A-Team banner alongside Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobli. But it’s 2013, and, considering the highlight of T-Mac’s return to the NBA has been his sideline attire, he’s relegated to a lineup featuring Danny Green, DeJuan Blair and fellow Game 1 street-clothed partner-in-crime, Boris Diaw.
