According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, it looks like seven-time All-Star Tracy McGrady has reached agreement on a deal with the San Antonio Spurs. The signing is most likely a result from the Spurs dropping Stephen Jackson last week. Tracy has been playing in China this season but he has has signed his deal with the Spurs, and his Letter of Clearance has arrived from China, sources say. The deal is only for the rest of the season.
Per club policy, terms of the contract were not announced.
The 33-year old spent the 2012-13 season playing for Qingdao of the Chinese Basketball League. In 29 games he averaged 25.0 points, 7.2 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.55 steals in 31.6 minutes.
