Check out N.C. State’s fairly heartwarming reaction to making the NCAA Tournament field. After seeing the numerous videos which circulate following selection Sunday it is hard not to feel for the teams that do NOT make the field.
The 2011-2012 NC State Men’s Basketball team, along with coaches, staff, and family of staff, gathered in The Dorothy and Roy Park Alumni Center in hopes of receiving their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2006. When the last spot was announced, and “NC State” appeared on the digital bracket, everyone in attendance erupted in yells of excitement and tears of joy.
