President-elect Donald Trump has been hard at work putting things in place for his ascension into office in January. Much of that involves appointing people to roles where he thinks they will best be able to help serve the US government.
However one of those appointments has left many people scratching their heads.
“Trump just picked failed Senate candidate Herschel Walker to be U.S. Ambassador to the Bahamas. Yes, Herschel Walker,” reported MSNBC’s Kyle Griffin.

Fans reacted to the shocking news that the former football star was representing the U.S. government on social media.
“So what. It’s basically a do nothing job. If i have one complaint it’s that these Ambassadorships are a waste of taxpayer money,” one person wrote on Twitter.
“Gotta think the number of werewolves and vampires are pretty low down there, what with the small geographic area, and lack of Eastern European castles. So, he’ll probably feel safe there!” one person added.
“Good choice. The guy is inexperienced. This seems like a good spot for him,” another person wrote.
“He failed because Georgia was corrupt. Been cleaned up a lot since then,” someone else posted.
It will be interesting to see how Walker represents the United States.
