Things have not gone according to plan after what was a promising start in Chicago. The Bears have lost six games in a row after a 4-2 start to the season, and they’ve lost in some pretty spectacular ways.
On Thanksgiving Day, the Bears’ comeback attempt fell short when they failed to call timeout after quarterback Caleb Williams took a sack and there was only time for one more play, an incomplete deep ball.
According to one prominent NFL insider, the powers that be in Chicago have had enough.

Fans reacted to the shocking move on social media.
“Wow!! It was overdue. Yesterday was the icing on the cake.,” one fan said on Twitter.
“*pretends to be shocked after seeing yesterday’s final play*,” one fan added.
“Whatever GM hired him should also be immediately fired for failing to evaluate talent,” another person added.
“Great news but I’m still not confident we hire the right guy,” added a fan.
“Probably the most justified firing of all time,” one fan added.
It’ll be interesting to see who Chicago brings in to replace Eberflus.
