The New York Giants may be in the market for a new quarterback sooner rather than later.

The Giants lost an important divisional game to the Washington Commanders on Sunday to fall to 2-7 on the season. While Giants quarterback Daniel Jones had one of his better games, finishing 20-for-26 for 174 yards and two touchdowns, a shocking stat has been unearthed that reveals just how poor Jones’ tenure in New York has gone.

“The Chiefs won two super bowls between Daniel Jones’ most recent two passing touchdowns at MetLife stadium,” sports reporter Sarah York revealed after Jones’ first touchdown pass on Sunday.

Fans reacted to the ugly stat on social media.

“Absolutely absurd lmao he was injured for some of that time too tho,” one fan said on Twitter.

“Well when you put it that way…ouch,” one fan added.

“That’s the most incredible stat I’ve heard in a long time,” one fan added.

“Daniel Jones masterclass ZERO YARDS and a touchdown pass,” one person said of his stat line at the time of his first touchdown.

“You could imagine why i could care less for a sport when this is the state of my team & the football parlays are not parlaying,” one fan added.

While it’s no secret that Jones and the Giants have struggled as of late, it’s hard to imagine he’s been this bad, but alas.
