Despite a dust-up at practice recently, everything appears rosy for Garrett Wilson and Aaron Rodgers.

The third-year receiver out of Ohio State recently cleared the air about his interaction with the star quarterback at New York Jets training camp this week.

“We’re getting better. We’re gaining an understanding for each other and the way we go about things, the way we think — interpret the game,” Wilson said via Pro Football Talk. “It’s truly enlightening for me every time we have convos like that, despite how it may look.”

Wilson, Rodgers, and the Jets are hoping for much better success this season. Rodgers lost his season in Week 1, leaving Jets fans to ponder “what if?” all season long. But after a full offseason, they’re poised to give it another try.

Wilson’s posted two consecutive 1,000-yard seasons in his first two years in the league. The former Buckeye made a seamless adjustment from college to the pros. The only area he hasn’t broken out in yet is touchdowns. He’s scored just seven in the past two seasons. But with better quarterback play this season, that number may finally swell. But much of the attention will be on Rodgers. His return to the Jets will be highly anticipated, as he may lift them back to the playoffs for the first time in many years.
