As Donald Trump continues his campaign against United States President Joe Biden, he’s dealing with a pretty terrible business situation regarding his New Jersey golf courses as a result of his hush money conviction last month, but one of his sons doesn’t seem
The New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control has decided not to renew the liquor licenses of Trump National Golf Club Colts Neck and Trump National Golf Club Bedminster as they consider whether or not his conviction in his hush money case affects the holding of those licenses. But Trump’s son, Eric Trump, seems to think that there is no case.
“One minor problem – President Trump is not the holder of any liquor license in New Jersey, and he is not an officer or director of any entity that holds a liquor license in New Jersey – or anywhere in the United States for that matter. Ask me how I know…” Eric Trump said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

The New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control, meanwhile, disagrees. After an initial review by the division, the office said th it “maintains a direct beneficial interest in the three liquor licenses through the receipt of revenues and profits from them, as the sole beneficiary of the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust.”
The liquor licenses expired on Sunday, but the two golf clubs were issued interim permits to serve alcohol until a hearing is held on July 19 where it will be determined whether or not the properties are eligible for a liquor license.
