Malachi Corley has only been a member of the New York Jets for a week, but he’s already managed to build a bond with Aaron Rodgers.
So much so that Rodgers has extended an offer to Corley to live with him — one which the former Western Kentucky star plans to take him up on.
“Malachi Corley said he’s been texting Aaron Rodgers quite a bit asking about football, life, mental health — said he’s Hall of Famer and wants to learn everything from him,” SNY’s Connor Hughes reported. “Rodgers has been receptive to it. He invited Corley to live in his guest house if he wants.”

“I told him I’m going to be staying in your guest house come training camp,” Corley told SNY of the offer.
Selected by the Jets in the third round of this year’s draft, Corley joins a New York receiving corps that currently includes Garrett Wilson, Mike Williams and Allen Lazard. In four seasons at Western Kentucky, the 22-year-old Corley amassed 259 receptions, 3,035 receiving yards and 29 touchdowns, including 79 receptions for 984 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2023.
In heading to New York, the two-time Conference USA first-team selection will look to provide another weapon for Rodgers as he returns from the torn Achilles injury
hat cost him all but four snaps of the 2023 season. While it remains to be seen whether their off-field chemistry will translate to the football field, it’s hard to view Corley’s connection with his Rodgers as anything but a positive for his rookie season outlook.
