The Chicago Bears will look entirely different on offense this coming season after selecting star quarterback Caleb Williams and star wideout Rome Odunze in the 2024 NFL Draft this past weekend. And already, they are fitting in quite nicely with the team when it comes to hating one of their biggest NFC North rivals.

It goes without saying that one of the biggest rivalries in all of football comes between the Bears and the Green Bay Packers. Simply put, it comes naturally for every Bears fan and player to naturally dislike the Bears.

It’s not like the Bears don’t have good reason to hate the Packers. Whether it be Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers, or Jordan Love at quarterback, the Packers have simply dominated in the head-to-head series as of late.

Dating back to 2000, the Packers hold a 37-12 record against the Bears. You have to go all the way back to 2018 to find the last time that the Bears have beaten the Packers.

Bears fans will be hoping that the duo of Williams and Odunze can completely change this rivalry. And it sure seems like Odunze in particular plans on doing so.

In a conversation with popular Tiktok user ‘Talk2meshow’ after being drafted by the Bears, Odunze shared that he already hates the Packers.

“First day hating the Packers,” said Odunze. “I already can’t stand them. Every time I see green I nearly puke.”

It’ll sure be interesting to see the battles between the Bears and the Packers moving forward, particularly because both seem to have very bright futures on their hands if all goes to plan.
