On Monday, the New York Jets were among the 25 teams opening their voluntary offseason programs. And when the Jets began their offseason work, there was one notable player who decided to attend – superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
The New York Jets announced on social media that Aaron Rodgers was in the team facility for the start of voluntary workouts.
“happy to see you too [Aaron Rodgers],” the Jets official account said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter, showing a video of Rodgers walking into the team facilities.

It’s not clear exactly how much work Rodgers or practice Rodgers was set to do with the team, but he was in attendance at the very start of voluntary workouts, which is significant in and of itself.
Last year, Rodgers was not in attendance for all of the team’s voluntary workouts, but he did make it clear that he was going to be there for more than half of them. This came after Rodgers famously skipped voluntary workouts towards the end of his time with the Green Bay Packers.
We’ll have to see how this extra preparation affects Rodgers as he tries to come back from his season-ending Achilles injury.
