Jonathan Owens has a new home. Which means that his wife, Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles, does too.
With Owens’ contract with the Green Bay Packers having expired, the veteran NFL safety became a free agent this week. And it didn’t take long for him to find a new home, agreeing to terms with the Chicago Bears on a two-year deal.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Biles reacted to the news that her husband will be staying in the NFC North. And the four-time gold medalist is clearly a proud wife, expressing nothing but joy regarding her husband’s new team.
“just wanted to say thank you packer nation for embracing my husband & I [love] green bay will always hold a special place in our hearts!” Biles wrote, before adding, “CHICAGO HERE HE COMES.”

Biles didn’t stop there, as she continued to note all of the benefits that having her husband playing in the Windy City will bring.
“I’m so excited about not having a connecting flight to go & see my husband hahahahaaha,” she wrote, “also I just love the city of Chicago.”

For good measure, Biles posted: “pizza & hotdogs F YEAH,” before adding a more sentimental message of, “so incredibly proud of my husband. the grind never stops! this is just the beginning!”

After going undrafted out of Missouri Western, Owens signed with the Arizona Cardinals as a free agent in 2018 and went on to spend time with the Houston Texans (2019-2022) and Packers. Appearing in 48 career regular-season games, the 28-year-old has amassed 227 tackles, eight pass defenses, two sacks and one interception.
Biles and Owens began dating in 2020 before getting married in 2023.
