Golfer Tiger Woods has been in the news recently because of what he did off the course, not on it. During the twilight of his career, this has been the new normal.
It was reported that over five different drugs were found in his system after his DUI arrest. Woods is now going to be entered into a diversion program and won’t have to face jail time. None of the news shows Woods making a come back anytime soon.
In enters John Daly. Yes, the beer drinking, cigarette smoking provocateur. He has thoughts on Woods and how he can get back on track.
“It’s sad what’s going on in his life,” Daly said. He goes on to mention, “He’s so close to doing what nobody else has done in the game of golf and I just hope he comes through it and gets healthy and gets back out here ’cause this tour needs him.”

Daly has dealt with substance abuse issues in the past and may just be the person to give the proper advice to Woods.
It doesn’t look likely that Woods will ever break Jack Nicklaus’ majors’ record but seeing Woods on the course is good for the game. Who would’ve thought Daly could bring that thought back into our consciousness.
