According to a report by TMZ Sports, Seattle Seahawks running backs Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch were in the middle of having an impromptu drag race close to the team’s Seattle practice facility when Jackson lost control of his vehicle and slammed it into a nearby stop sign.
The two were reportedly racing on a public road when Jackson wrecked his car. Although police did come to the scene, Jackson was apparently whisked away to the Seahawks’ facilities by members of the organization. It looks like he wasn’t injured.
Fred Jackson is fine after today's crash, I'm told.

According to TMZ, Marshawn drove off, presumably so he wouldn’t get fined.
UPDATE: According to Pro Football Talk, Jackson’s crash was reportedly the result of Jackson misjudging a turn at a high speed, not of a drag race as TMZ originally reported.
UPDATE 2:
Thanks 2 everyone worried about me. I lost control of my car. My teammates, including Marshawn, stopped 2 check on me. They weren't racin me
