Terrance Gore clearly came off the base and Astros third baseman Luis Valbuena clearly grazed the Royals speedster but apparently KC fans (and their police department) are struggling with that concept.
There’s no debating that the overturned call in the seventh inning was a close one but replay shows that Gore was indeed out:
Apparently Royals folks need help understanding that every part of the glove is part of the glove, thus meaning if any part of the glove touches any part of the player, he is out.
The Kansas City PD also disagreed with the call and sent out a tweet that has us questioning their eyesight and judgment. However, it’s not entirely surprising because the entire KC metro has been watching baseball for a whole 12 months and is still learning the basic concepts of the game.
That call on Gore was a crime.
