The “What are thoooose!?!?!” meme is still going strong and Peter King was the sneaker-based viral-gag’s latest victim.
King was in Pittsburgh, New York to film a segment from the Buffalo Bills training camp when a Buffalo Bills intern decided to do humanity’s good work and hit King with the meme, right as he was filming.
A clearly confused King responded could only muster “Sneakers” while MMQB writer Robert Klemko gleefully shared the whole scene on Twitter for all to enjoy.

If you don’t keep up with the latest memes and are as bewildered as King is in the above video, the “What Are Those” meme exploded in popularity about two months ago when Instagram user “youngbusco” went up to a cop and shouted “WHAT ARE THOSE” while panning to the officer’s feet.
Still, King shouldn’t feel too badly for not fully understanding the “What Are Those” craze. Michael Jordan was recently asked “WHAT ARE THHOOOOOSE” as well and he gave a pretty straightforward answer as well.
