The “WHAT ARE THOSE” meme has become the sneakerhead’s version of an “inside” joke so it’s not surprising that one person at Michael Jordan’s Flight School basketball camp decided to break out the meme during a question and answer session with His Airness.

Jordan, because he’s a billionaire who doesn’t have time to keep up with the latest internet fads, wasn’t quite sure how to respond, so he simply answered the question:
“Look man, I’m lost with that Vine stuff. What are those? These are XX9 Lows.”

Neither video provides a glimpse of the colorway that Jordan was wearing on the night of the Q&A but MJ was spotted in the unreleased Air Jordan XX9 Low at the camp with some regularity.
The camp attendee should have known better than to try and pull a fast one on the GOAT. Even when he’s being ambushed with a meme, Michael Jordan simply won’t lose these types of verbal sparring matches.
