Last week, Patriots tight end and burgeoning writer Rob Gronkowski sat down to talk with Sirius XM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio to promote his new book “It’s Good to be Gronk.”
When asked by Maria Menounos if he had read the book that he wrote (Jason Rosenhaus shares a writing credit for “It’s Good to be Gronk“), Gronk was hilariously and bluntly truthful:
“About like 80 percent of it,” Gronkowski said with a smile. “I’m not going to lie about it. That’s what the book is — it’s all truthful in there. It’s no sugarcoating or anything. It doesn’t make my image look good, it’s no false image in there. I ain’t going to lie either, I only read like 80 percent of it, but I know what better parts were and everything; what it’s all about. It was a quick deadline. I couldn’t get to it all.”
There you have it folks. Rob Gronkowski can personally verify that 80 percent of the book that he wrote is “all truthful” with “no sugarcoating or anything.”
No one’s actually surprised by this revelation, right? Gronk’s gonna Gronk.
