On Saturday night, Mariners fan Evelyn Jones became the oldest person to ever throw out a first pitch at a spry 108 years old.
Evelyn made the trip out to Safeco Field for her birthday and she gamely tossed the ball to Felix Hernandez to the delight of everyone on Planet Earth.
Per The Seattle Times, Jones was born in 1907 and she currently watches Mariners games each night from her retirement community in Woodinville, Washington.
Evelyn’s first pitch broke the previous record for oldest person to throw out a first pitch which was held by Agnes McKee, who threw out the first pitch at a 2014 Padres game at the age of 105.
