Sure, Sunday may have been meant to celebrate Father’s Day but this woman at the A’s-Angels game managed to steal the show in the seventh inning of Sunday’s game.
The errant ball managed to rebound off some less coordinated hands and right into her expertly multi-tasking grasp. And, showing that a pro never takes a play off, the heroic A’s fan immediately stopped the child from throwing the ball into the crowd as well.
We just may have a new candidate for “Catch of the Year Made While Holding a Child.” Yes, there’s been more than one.
