Detroit Lions center Dominic Raiola has been suspended by the league for one game following his blatant leg stomp in Sunday’s win over the Bears. The highly controversial veteran clearly stomped on the leg of Chicago defensive lineman Ego Ferguson but still claims it was unintentional.
He will apparently be eligible for an expedited appeal process. If he fails to successfully appeal the suspension, the loss could play a crucial role as the Lions visit Green Bay on Sunday for the NFC North crown.
