The story of MySpace’s decline has been just mind blowing. It’s like an end of gangster movie, you think back to all the good times; all the money made; all of the lines of coke just blowing around MySpace headquarters…things were so good. Now things are sooo bad.
Today’s chart of the day from Business Insider shows Myspace’s robust and definitive decline in advertising revenue. Advertisers are running away from MySpace inventory because who knows what the future of the site is. Advertisers would rather allocate that budget to sure bets like Facebook or Cosby Sweaters.
