Unlike the first two games of the season, the Los Angeles Lakers put up a valiant effort against their cross-hallway rival Clippers on Friday night, losing 118-111 after leading for much of the second half. Not helping the Lakers’ cause was this bizarre sequence midway through the third quarter, when the Clippers had possession, and the home team got caught sleeping in a huddle. There’s no way Kobe didn’t threaten to kill someone after this.
