There have been two central themes surrounding this exciting MLB trade deadline: Big trades, and being really bad at Twitter.
It’s understandable that people in Tampa Bay would be upset about the news of David Price being traded from the Rays to the Detroit Tigers but, hey, maybe FOX 13 Tampa Bay didn’t take enough time to think this one out:
Good news and bad news for the idiot behind this tweet, which has since been deleted. The bad? You’re fired. The good? Tampa Bay is a way better place to be unemployed than stinky ol’ Detroit!
Update: Detroit’s local FOX affiliate has fired back on Twitter, and they nailed it.
