In case you missed it Wednesday, professional troll* Dan Le Batard is the media member who sold (but not really) his Baseball Hall of Fame vote to Deadspin in exchange for highlighting the Hall’s flawed selection process. Predictably, a shit-ton of sanctimonious rabble-rousing reigned down on poor Danny from high atop Mt. Pious — including his BFFs at Pardon The Interruption. Now that the pitchforks and torches have been (for the most part) laid down/extinguished, the Baseball Writers Association of America went about punishing Dan, revoking his Hall of Fame vote — a move he assumed would happen — for eternity, and suspending him from the BBWAA for one year. As such, he’s banned from attending Major League Baseball games for one year as credentialed media.
Considering Le Batard just took a giant dump on the BBWAA and the silly Hall of Fame process, I’m sure he’s not losing any sleep over any of those sanctions.

* Please do not interpret that as an insult. Dan Le Batard is one of the best things going in sports media today — and his troll game is unparalleled.
