USC Trojans product Caleb Williams is essentially a lock to be selected by the Chicago Bears with the No. 1 pick in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft. And during his Pro Day on Wednesday, he turned heads and further reassured his draft stock with a terrific performance.

Williams showed off all of the arm talent that has been widely documented throughout the pre-draft process, most notably with a 75-yard deep bomb right on the money to USC wide receiver Brenden Rice.

This wasn’t the only highlight from Williams, however, as he looked good consistently throughout the workout on several different difficult throws.

If this wasn’t enough, he even showed off his punting ability at the very end of his workout, which was actually quite impressive.

There wasn’t much for Williams to prove coming into this workout, as most already had him as the consensus No. 1 pick in the draft. But now, fans are seemingly even more sold about the Bears selecting him in the draft next month.

The Bears certainly it no secret that they were watching closely at Williams during the Pro Day. Bears GM Ryan Poles and head coach Matt Eberflus were in attendance for the event, greeting Williams’ parents who were watching from the stands.

The Bears have already made some significant moves this offseason to surround their future No. 1 pick with a plethora of talent, bringing in Keenan Allen in a blockbuster trade earlier this month.ย
